1. Check Airline Policies on their acceptance for live animals in their aircraft.
2. Make a Reservation once you received confirmation and acceptance from the airline.
3. Choose an Appropriate Carrier that is IATA approved. It could either be a sturdy plastic crate or made of wood.
4. Visit the Veterinarian and prepare your travel documents necessary as per destination import requirements.
5. Prepare for Travel and get your pet crate trained and prepare pet’s crate for travel like putting some old towels or tshirts underneath the crate and water bowls to get ready for travel.
6. Arrival at the Airport. Drop off at the airport and complete handover at the counter.
7. During the Flight. While pet is in the cargo hold, the place is highly secured and it is temperature and pressure controlled.
8. Post-Flight Care. Preparation for arrival and presentation of documents of pets to proper authorities.
9. Follow Local Regulations in the country of destination.
